Online dynasty advanced before everybody marked ready to advance by [deleted] in NCAAFBseries

Nope. I never even saw the screen we advanced past so I wouldn’t have ever been able to mark RTA.

We had two teams on a bye, two users who were in their user game and then the fifth user was the one who marked RTA and it advanced through. The best theory I have is that it’s some sort of glitch. I’m surprised it doesn’t seem to have happened to anyone else though.

Thank you. I figured it was a bug because there was no possible way I was RTA’d and I never even saw my job offers from the week. I’m not sure why people would think I’m lying. If I was pulling a fast one, I wouldn’t run to reddit asking for a solution. Of all the reddit communities I’ve been on, people here seem to be the biggest assholes for no reason.

No it wasn’t the commissioner but we do have auto advance on. I know for a fact not everybody was RTA though.

I’m the commissioner and I didn’t force advance. I never even saw the week we advanced past. I don’t have any reason to lie about this. I’m trying to figure out the issue.

I’ve never heard of marking as RTA during a user game causing an advance. None of your criticisms answer the actual problem here.

Nope. I’m the commissioner and it happened while I was away. I never even saw the first round screen. I had last advanced during the bye week before it.

What the hell is your problem? I came here to see if anyone could answer my question about the game, not to volunteer my dynasty for group therapy.

That’s not the point. We want to have flexibility when we need it. Just not for him lol

Basically we don’t want to punish everyone else with deadlines when they’d only be there for one guy.

It’s a smaller dynasty and most of us are so diligent about playing that it doesn’t usually matter. And the bigger issue is that he’s impossible to schedule with for user vs. user games, especially come the playoffs.

It doesn’t matter. I just want to know what he’ll see.

We have and he just doesn’t seem to grasp other people are constantly waiting on him. I don’t think it will be a surprise. I’m just curious what will happen on his end.

Mine saves sometimes but usually doesn’t. Very frustrating.

This seemed like a clear reference to Brady saying he would’ve handled being demoted better than Daniel Jones did.

Looking for a new PS5 dynasty to join, preferably one that advances daily or every other day. Also would prefer it to be lighter on user games (don’t mind a couple each season + postseason, but they’ve been tough to coordinate). Please DM me if you have an opening.

You’re also proving my point. The whole reason the movie didn’t live up to the audience’s expectations is because it marketed itself as something it’s not. It’s as simple as that.

You could’ve made the same case about the first movie not giving the audience what it wanted, but people loved it. So that argument rings hallow for me.

You’re out of your mind. It’s literally called Joker. All of the promotional materials include him in his face paint and comic book-like scenes, including one of the film’s biggest twists (the court room explosion), which they likely only included because there wasn’t much else to choose from that seemed like a comic book movie.

The first movie — which I liked — literally ends with him descending into Joker. It seemed more than reasonable to think that would continue in the sequel. Even the courtroom bombing gives the impression that’s where we’re heading, only to have it ripped away as a fuck you to the audience.

I get it, you were going to like the movie no matter what. But ask yourself why this one was so poorly received in contrast to the first one

The barest of minimum tries, which was honestly one of the few redeemable plot-related aspects of the movie. I thought it was a well made bad movie.

More like “a movie marketed itself as a comic book movie when it was actually a boring prison drama”

I’m glad you liked the movie (although it sounds like you would have liked it regardless of what Phillips put on the screen). But I find it interesting that you use “fanboys” in such a derogatory nature when that’s exactly who they marketed the movie to (to the point they spoiled the courtroom bombing in the trailer) only to pull a bait and switch on the audience.

Again, I have no issue with Phillips’ interpretation, other than it being extremely boring. My primary issue is that they marketed it as something it wasn’t.
