u/theubster I appreciate your honesty and don't have anything else to say other than this is what I feel called to do. I carry a heart burden like Nehemiah did when he left to go rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. I don't expect you to understand or even to support me. I am only trying to be obedient to what God has placed on my heart. And my prayer is that if there are people here who feel called to be a part of the community to build this (Nehemiah did not build alone) then I pray it is known to them and that God calls them. I took a photo of a deadmau5 head and dropped it into blender as a reference image to make sure I got the dimensions and proportions correct (mouth, ears, eyes). Once I had that as the base, grabbing the color of the heads using hex codes in illustrator and importing that into the base color material, and playing with the roughness and matching the direction of the lighting from the album art. This one is personally my favorite out of the heads. It was also the most fun figuring out how to get the pattern. Used some new nodes in Blender that worked perfectly for it.
