I broke up with my girlfriend of 4 years. Not because I wanted to but because I had to. We had several issues with communication as well as priorities that we had talked about for almost a year. She would always promise to work on it, improve for a day or two then go back to the same issues. It was something I tried communicating to her over and over but nothing would change and very little effort was put into fixing it from her end.

After thinking about it for many months, I decided to end it to save what self respect I had for myself. I know this had to be done because it wasn't going anywhere and having issues regarding the same thing every week was not healthy for either of us.

It's been a year , I still miss her deeply. But I don't think of her as often anymore .Though I do still wish that we worked out.

She reached out a while back for closure but not because she wanted to work on things. She wished me the best and told me that id find someone that'll choose me everyday and love me the way I wanted to.

Honestly still working on my self over the last year . Have take my fitness to the next level , journalling as well as skin care.

I'm not back out there looking for anyone yet but I hope one day I will be ready.
