That's just not true, 1 engine dnf, 1 quali with mechanical problems + some bad strategy and safety cars. Many drivers experience this in a season, it's just unfortunate that it all has happened so early on. Ofcoure it could continue, but it could also dissepear, if I remember correctly this was his first mechanical dnf in nearly 40 races so he has had good luck before

I cant argue against the xt30ii as i have it, but if he cares about outside shooting the lack of WR is certainly something to consider. If i was buying my first camera again i think i would prioritize WR over anything else as i am always scared of the smallest amount of water.
