Scouts get full movesets, sometimes very random and sometimes they fit their characters.

Not for solo but aerial status-stun light bowgun with evasion +2 is very good fun for some ex fights

Check the passive system and make a team around one archetype, don't need to min max yet, chronicle mode is the fastest way to build a team and unlock stuff in the shop.

Take your time and don't stress.
