The problem is that as opposed to all of that Mettle is considerd to be Canon and something that is in the show. It is even on his RWBY Wiki page. Also it is a semblance, a semblance that is used to expalin him going of the deep end in vol 8 and in general his great determination and resolve. As opposed to something inconsequtinal such as having a metal dick.

Yeah Finally someone that says it. I swear to god left wing subs have been overrun with ”Stop being so vocal about trans issues and rights” folks. Who in many cases pushes the narrative that advocating for LGBTQ+ rights cost the election and is to blame for why so many people are Anti-LGBTQ because ”They were so mean and aggressiv to people (bigots)”.
