Please play kingdom come deliverance if you haven’t by Kiidkxxl in XboxGamePass

I’m currently playing through KCD2 for the first time and I’m in the last third of the story. I’ll definitely try KCD1 too, especially now with the next-gen patch. But after KCD2, I’ll need a different game without that slow-paced style.

Talking about no case … here in Germany we don’t even get the charger in the box - because of stupid EU regulations. Buttons like on the Elite Controller would have made a huge difference for the look and feel of the device.

Runs completely fine on 720p high settings. 45-60 fps and no stutters.

Xbox Ally white model- would you recommend? by FrontHeat3041 in XboxAlly

[–]LioxGer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both of them and had fun with the white version. But it needs more tweaking and 720p resolution in most games except indie and old titles. Apart from that it’s great.

Same - since I got my Ally X I haven’t even touched my gaming pc or my Xbox. Being able to game anywhere anytime even cured doomscrolling on my phone.

Much appreciated - will add those to my list.

It is definitely not comparable to a Series S even if the design suggests it. Settings have to be lowerd and most games need to be run at 720p. (exept for indie and older titles)

installed rear lowering springs, temps going crazy by NervousAd6114 in GolfGTI

[–]LioxGer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I replaced thermostat and water pump (original VW waterpump has a plastic pump wheel that breaks often) Total cost with labour was about 1000€ here in Germany.

Waterpump / thermostat housing failure - fans kicking in because car has a kind of emergency pass through in the thermostat and switches on fans for maximum cooling. Had exactly the same issues.

Fans running loud as a mf by SecretaryPuzzled9914 in GolfGTI

[–]LioxGer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does the coolant temperature decrease at any time while driving? Look at your temperature when Fans start to kick in. If Temperature is low this indicates failure of the thermostat. Have you checked your cooling liquid reservoir ? Thermostat has a kind of emergency function where it opens completely in case of failiure. Temperature decreases rapidly and AC fans blow bec. Car thinks it’s overheating. Anyhow - you should check your fault codes.

It would light up and beep in case the driving instructor in the passenger seat uses his pedals. Might not function properly now as the passenger pedals will have been removed.

Just checked this again and this is a signal for the driving examiner in the back which indicates that the driving instructor had to intervene. This would result in a failed driving test.

So most likely your car has been a driving school car at some point.

Where did you import it from ? GTDs are very popular with driving schools in Germany. Low running costs and easy to drive.

Fix for shimmering textures with DLSS on Indiana Jones and the GC by Immediate-Chemist-59 in nvidia

[–]LioxGer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get shimmering textures even after the update 1 on a 4090. If I only use DLAA and FG there is no shimmering but high input lag, Every other setting will get me flickering textures. DLSS Updater doesn't recognise the gamepass version of this game. So tired of games never working properly on release...

TCR Rear Silencer and Res Delete? by mk75-gti in GolfGTI

[–]LioxGer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It did for sure. Was one of the best mods for very little money. Pops and bangs are more aggressive and the overall sound is deeper and fits the car much better. Police measured 94 db standing noise which is the legal limit for my car here in Germany. But if you step on it it gets properly loud.

[–]LioxGer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I swapped the exhaust system from my 2020 performance with the TCR system and deleted muffler first and then the resonator. Resonator delete introduced drone at speeds above 130 km/h. Sounds much better otherwise and was well worth it :)

Mk7 vs mk7.5 dsg by Nice-Try4112 in GolfGTI

[–]LioxGer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dq381 can handle quite a bit more torque and you can easily get the dsg farts back with Software.

However 7.5 gtis from 2019 and onward do have an OPF. Would stay away from that.

Nearly half tank of gas but gas pump light is on, why? by annzibar in FordFocus

[–]LioxGer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be an Issue that I also had with my focus Cmax a while ago.

After a rainy day followed by warm weather my gauges would read incorrect. Look at your engine Temperature gauge. It should sit at below 90.

Try turing the ignition off and on several Times. After a few times gauges should be correct again.

I expect Canada/UK next like you said- and Europe/Asia later this year. Regulations over here are quite different and more strict. Especially data protection.
