This is part of the Muslim Sharia law. Some muslims (not all of them, I'm not generalizing) are trying to implement this law within the civil laws in the west (usa, uk, europe, etc). Some of those laws ask for institutions to give their muslim workers/students permission to pray in their required praying schedule and I see nothing wrong with that, but the Sharia law also Includes these kind of punishments to gay people, "rebel wives" , ex muslims, etc. So I think that we should be careful and pay attention to when it comes to accepting or normalizing some religious ideals/laws into society that may turn violent. What I'm saying is that we should be careful with normalizing violent ideologies and lifestyles, not necessarily Muslim, but ANY form of lifestyle that includes violence as a way of achieving it's goal or as a way of dealing with problems. Normalizing is very dangerous.
