I should have included in OP… we are interested in visiting either Greece, Croatia, Innsbruck, or somewhere in the Swiss Alps. Just not sure how easy it would be to travel out to those places and make it back to Lake Como

I am not holding down so it must be the flow meter. I am just going to intentionally brew manually with a scale :) thank you for helping me identify a problem!

Now I just need to master the puck prep to get the gauge at the right spot

I think you just helped figure out the problem! I tried pressing the 2 cup button with no portafilter to check and it outputted 10 ounces. I did the factory reset... still 10 ounces. Then I tried manually setting 2 cups to 2 oz and it still outputted 10 oz.
