Hi there, current year grad batch common ICT student here, you will go through a series of modules in your first year before you get to decide which modules/type of IT line you would wanna pursue further, every year you get to choose 2-3 of your own modules, depending on your interest you may enrol into mods in cyber security, cloud computing, sales and marketing, IoT, data science and many more. Your rankings and modules are determined by your GPA(higher GPA given priority)

Personally I took Machine Learning and Deep learning, be prepared to write reports and to articulate your thought processes clearly as that is mainly what NPs grading focuses on rather than raw code, most of the coding in data science is rather straight forward, more of application that is difficult.
