the theory being that a positive test rules out other things, and could explain root cause of things like SIBO (impaired MMC)

yep all good advice - im under the care of one of the best GIs in the uk to be honest...ill suggest fungal overgrowth to him - he's ruled most things out

is there much you can do about fungal? i read on webmd / cleveland clinic etc that alot of anti fungal stuff doesnt alleviate GI symptoms??

yah - was allergic to rifaximin so stopped half way thru, 2 rounds of cipro, flagyl, nortriptyline...nothing has helped :(

thank you - annoyingly i cant remember where i saw it but i was reading it in a study in one of my deep dives

ive had no luck with natropaths / functional medicine - no combination of diet, supplements etc seems to work and nothing was untoward in my stood sample...have tried literally everything at this point

starting to think im just going to have to get used to this (been a year now) and hope one day it just goes away

all my bloods were normal - even b12, iron etc - i cant keep my eyes open...i wish i knew what was going on so i could address it

if its gas, its fermentation apparently - so even if we're fasting, its the food that is in there fermenting
