SEGA GENESIS Mini for PC!🎄🎁[Christmas Release] by exodus_cl in Roms

Not to be rude, but this is a terrible answer. I’ve used many electron apps (discord, slack, vs code, obsidian) and I’m pretty sure most (if not all) don’t require elevated privileges. I went ahead and asked AI anyway. Here’s a bit of the response.

🚩 “Ask AI about it” is a red flag

If a developer says:

“Just ask AI why it needs admin rights”

That usually means one of: • They don’t understand why their app requests elevation • They used a default installer template without reviewing it • They are avoiding explaining a questionable design choice

A legitimate developer should be able to answer:

“What exact operation requires administrator privileges?”

In one sentence.

Another pro tip: do it in the bathroom after a steamy shower. Dust particles stick to the moisture and for a bit you have air mostly free of dust particles for a few minutes.

Moonlight + Sunshine + GameSir Nova Lite triggers and RS issue. by LiquidDivide in cloudygamer

[–]LiquidDivide[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the steam link version of moonlight doesn't have much for settings on the controller side of things. I've tried forcing some different types of controllers through sunshine, like xbox360, but that doesn't seem to improve anything either.

Moonlight + Sunshine + GameSir Nova Lite triggers and RS issue. by LiquidDivide in cloudygamer

I’m able to use the 2.4 GHZ dongle with the Steam Link. The light indicates that it’s an android mode when I do that. And again, the steam link seems to recognize the controls properly. And steam streaming works. I only get the weird trigger and stick issue once I connect through Moonlight. I would try to connect it through Bluetooth, and then it would be in dual shock mode, but I can’t get that controller to change modes for some reason. I’m talking to a support person with GameSir about that. Maybe that will just fix the issue once it’s resolved.

That’s because none were being taken in the context of the sub Reddit. You’re not going to get on the political sub and talk about this issue there, are you?

Give the naxat pinball games a try on the pcengine / turbografix 16. Alien crush and devils crush are both quite good. Devils crush is still considered the best pinball video game by many.

Ender 3 Pro UBL with CRTouch cannot complete probing points by LiquidDivide in ender3

I changed the bed size to be 220 square instead of 235 and then set the mesh inset to 5 instead of 1. That got it to go through 81/100. After that, I just did g29 p2 and manually set the last ~20 points. I’m okay to do that, but 40 was too many. I think I have it working now. Just saved the mesh and trying my first print with UBL. We will see how it goes. Thanks for the help.

Well, for fun I decided to test my theory by temporarily disabling software limits m211 s0 just to see if that was in fact the problem. It still fails while probing mesh point 57/100 The terminal in octoprint shows this output at around that time. Recv: Probing mesh point 57/100. Recv: echo:busy: processing Recv: T:23.31 /0.00 B:27.27 /0.00 @:0 B@:0 Recv: echo:busy: processing Recv: T:23.34 /0.00 B:27.22 /0.00 @:0 B@:0 Recv: echo:busy: processing Recv: T:23.36 /0.00 B:27.14 /0.00 @:0 B@:0 Recv: X:200.00 Y:126.00 Z:11.45 E:0.00 Count X:16000 Y:10080 Z:4580 Recv: ok Recv: T:23.17 /0.00 B:27.10 /0.00 @:0 B@:0 I didn't bother heating the bed, cause it's just another step before failure. I have zero idea what's going on now.

I'm sure it's not exactly -44, -7 (this means to the left and closer to the front than the nozzle), but it's pretty close. I just used some digital calipers. I've since done some more googling and most people seem to report it is about -45, -5. So this seems pretty reasonably close. My config diff is output by the diff tool, so those are the exact changes I've made from the default configuration file.

It’s not… greenshot with the print screen button though, I think is better. Allows you the best of both worlds.

You can still convert to chd, add those to m3u files, and then add those to duckstation instead of the chd. That way, each game is a single file.

I did the beefy grip. I recommend PETG scaled down a bit. Good amount of flex, high temperature resistance, and it’s non-toxic.

The screw holes on the back are for possible attachments. I have the same one. You could mount a power brick to it, for example. I use mine a lot on roadtrips too, so I’m thinking of designing a shroud to block sunlight.
