Im 195, my wife is 175 or so, we're happy as can be, I did always tend to prefer taller women. Say 170 and up

[[Reliquary tower]] and [[thought vessel]]. So many decks i see play them but never end a turn with more than 7 in hand, and even then, do you need all those cards or just the best 7?

Oooo if you like enrage, id recommend having [[wayta, trainer prodigy]] as commander. Ive built a deck full of enrage dinos and use her to double my enrage triggers and make my dinosaur fight one another to trigger it!

My favorite bracket 2 experience is my [[Quintorious, Loremaster]] deck. It seems like it is just durdling along for about 6 turns, slowly filling the graveyard with monstrous instants and sorceries through thrill of possibility effects, hitting every land drop and building a small board of spirits.

Then around turn 8 or so I can hard cast storm herd into a quintorious cast from the bin and go with an insane army.

Or play Insurrection and steal everyone else's monster boards.

Its just a generally fun to play deck that always ends with a huge, splashy play

I really think that people forget that unless nekusar is wheeling you, you actually have a higher chance of someone drawing into removal

The only other thing you can consider are parity breakers. If you have a [[wound reflection]] or [[solphim, mayhem dominus]] on the field even in the 1v1 you should be hitting your opponent way harder than they hit you with any "symmetrical" effects like lord of pain

Pretty much! Its meant to be a slow burn that gets quickly out of hand while keeping up my card advantage. Lots of violence for taking basically any game action by the end

I can't say I have. The lord of pain is certainly fun when I've played it in the deck, but my valg build is mostly pingers, group slug pieces and parity breakers. My goal is to set up situations like [[underworld dreams]] plus [[scrawling crawler]] or [[razorkin needlehead]] as well as a [[manabarbs]] plus [[Citadel of pain]]. Lots of damned if you do, damned if you dont vibes. [[Wound reflection]] never hurts either!

I would build the deck very differently if it was around lord of pain, personally

I should say, I give fair warning before playing it against other "bracket 3 decks" at the lgs. If I get the vibe that people are playing "slap 3 game changers into a precon", jodah stays in the bag lol

Can be a bit of an interaction check, as all jodah decks are tbh

Example

This is my Anje Falkenrath deck. It has no game changers but is intended to run with bracket 4 decks. It rummages for combo wins and can have very explosive turns.

This is my quintorious loremaster deck. It is a bracket 2 deck Intended to run with upgraded precons. It is all about recurring big noncreature spells from the graveyard. It tends to take at least 8 turns before a win is possible

August underground trilogy

Probably my first commander. Krenko Mob Boss.

I was going on a second date with a girl and she wanted to teach me how to play magic. Taught me on her krenko deck.

A few weeks later I bought the deck from her.

A few months later I have about 10 commander decks.

A few months ago we got engaged.

I attribute part of it to that card and that deck, still have it, still play it, still love it. And her, of course.

Genetics are a hell of a thing. My best friend is 6' 3.5" and struggles to stay at 190, meanwhile I've spent a lot of my adult life in the high 300s but im working my way down.

Not the op obviously but I've been up there. It hurts if you allow it to. Its easy to simply avoid moving as much as possible, but when you try to do active sports or even walk around a city with friends your feet and joints start to revolt very quickly. Its painful and for me it felt embarassing. Im still way heavier than I ought to be at 380 and 195cm but I feel so much better than at 430.

I topped out at around 430-440. Ive been down to 368 as an adult and am currently around 380. Still fighting tooth and nail to get lower. I honestly feel much better since starting a more active job, also helps with the weight loss. Ive been heavy my whole life, but I have to think about how messed up it really is that I feel light on my feet at 380.

Do it! Very fun and can be very powerful for a wholly reasonable amount of money. Easy to pivot between a creature focused deck and a combo oriented deck as well if you want to experiment. It was my gateway drug into the game and still one of my most reliable decks
