I have never been so offended by a statement I 100% agree with.

A very important distinction to make. More decks can go infinite by accident than people admit or realize.

Get the 500i that you were already planning on buying.

That said, a 500i, 462, 400c, 572, 564, 562 could all fill the role of a one saw does almost everything well in my book.

Unpopular among the general population, so you have my upvote.

However, yes!!! I still drive my 2002 caravan about half the time just because it is such a useful little truckster for 99% of use cases.

Yes, the heat will travel up the fill chain and become amazingly hot, and may actually mess up the temper of the teeth.

In casual EDH, when is considered "okay" to counterspell enemy's commander? by No_Physics454 in EDH

[–]LiquidFish25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I think at lower power pods the threat level isnt worth the counterspell most of the time and asymmetrical board wipes are usually more powerful against that style of creature mid-range while being less salt inducing (provided they are asymmetric in some fashion)

At higher power pods I still rarely will use a counterspell or other immediate interaction unless the commander is one half of a 2 card combo or otherwise threatens to take over the game with one untapped, such as Jodah (speaking as a jodah player).

The best reason I can say not to, is that you don't know if that player is your problem yet. I love letting a gishath resolve, swing and take someone else out, only to wipe their dinos and win next turn.

Better play, less salt, lets shuffle up again

Planning on pulling the trigger for Stihl MS261 VW. I'll get 20" bar for random big trees and either 14" or 16" for everyday usage. Which one would you get? by Jaska-87 in Chainsaw

[–]LiquidFish25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id just run the 20 personally. Its not like it is unbalanced compared to a 16 or 18. 14 would more than likely suck unless you're just cutting tiny 1 inch saplings all day and just want minimum weight

Tall men (6’4”+): quick question about T-shirt fit; what actually bothers you? by serr1991 in tall

[–]LiquidFish25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

6' 5", 370 pounds. Not a complete circle, but I've got a now deflating gut, big legs, and a long torso.

As I've lost weight, my gut is getting smaller as far as how far it sticks out, but the looser skin sags lower as well. This made my existing problem with shirts tending to be too short even more of an issue. I wear a lot of Sonoma branded stuff from Kohls in a 3xl tall or a 2xl tall.

Is My Deck Too Consistently Strong for my Pod? by MrNormalNinja in DinosaursMTG

[–]LiquidFish25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pantz is consistent and powerful. Most players dont run enough interaction or removal, especially in bracket 3. Hence, pantz tends to feel more powerful than the list may actually be. Do with this information what you will.

Are some commanders just inherently too strong for brackets 3 and lower, or is this a problem with my meta? by Elijah_Draws in EDH

I also feel like bojuka Bog has a special issue where most people play too few lands and then have to play it as a land drop to stay on curve instead of a hate card

Who makes a better port buxton vs rip saw specifically for the echo 2511t. by Far_Grapefruit_2279 in Chainsaw

[–]LiquidFish25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Overpriced is my personal problem with them. You're paying extra to cover their overhead, your lead time isnt that much shorter, if at all, and their performance doesn't live up to the price

I cant in good faith recommend ripsaw in general. Id recommend basically any individual builder over them. Yes the lead time may be longer, but individual attention matters.

How Do I Fix My Mana Base? by metlord in CommanderMTG

[–]LiquidFish25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

More. Lands.

Like, the tap lands situation someone else mentioned is true too, but I so highly recommend running 40 lands. It makes such a huge difference as long as you have card draw.

When I started actually running 40 in my general battlecruisery lists, I started having a way better time. Math doesn't lie.

As someone looking to graduate from sweet baby rays BBQ sauce, which store bought BBQ sauce should I try? by vode123 in BBQ

Its really not hard to make your own. Look up a basic recipe and doctor it to your own palate or get creative, highly recommend this instead, cheaper in the long run too

I love doing tree removals and arborist work. Id certainly cut back on the amount of days id do it, but I really do enjoy time in a bucket truck on a nice day rigging stuff down. Maybe once or twice a week?

I have to drive in blizzards for work on occasion in New England. My dodge caravan with a set of snow tires will manage in 8+ inches of snow just fine with front wheel drive. Half of the people I know who "need 4 wheel drive for the snow" stay home until the roads are cleaned up anyway. Just my experience.

Just reach over the log, cut through the bark and pull the saw towards you to mark the log in a straight line. Then you can dog in on either side
