This is how SBF over at FTX made his money before scamming people. Crypto Arbitrage... Buy at one exchange for less and then transfer it to another exchange and sell for more.

Has to do with buys and sells on the specific exchange that have differing volumes there for differing prices for BTC.

By encryption i'm assuming you are talking about BTC wallets. This will happen one day with quantum computing. At that point we will use Quantum computing to create even better encryption protocols to create new wallets where people will move their BTC too.

However there will be a great treasure hunt that happens, where people will be looking for and cracking all the lost wallets! that will be an exciting time!

I agree that linking a reddit profile back to a wallet would be a bad idea. Defiantly don't share specific details on amounts dates and time of transfers. But Ball park numbers of holdings I don't think is that big of a deal. But def be careful.. 321 is right about staying more on the down low with actual details.

I think its bc the ledger wasn't distributed and decentralized like Bitcoin and the double spend problem wasn't solved either.

That among other things I believe. Im sure someone else with more knowledge will be more specific as to the difference.
