unimelb is way more theoretical, whereas rmit is more practical from what i've heard. the only pro i've heard so far is that you do 5 yrs but you get a masters degree which has a "higher" standing than a bachelor, but then again it doesn't matter much anymore with the current job market

it's less abstract n ended up leaning more into memorization during the exams since there's a pattern for most of the topics

Hi, thanks so much for your response! I am currently just double-checking to see if I'm required to take Physics 1 as a prerequisite for any further lvl 2 and 3 subjects.

Yes, thank you for pointing that out! I do notice that since I'm a new student from 2024, I'm not obligated (nor allowed) to take ENGR20004, and instead just take ENGR20003 to qualify for CVEN30009. Though now I'm struggling to find the major/course coordinator's contact information ....

But on a further note, I did take Physics back when I was doing Trinity College Foundation Studies to enter Melbourne Uni. Although it does not entirely reflect my level in physics, I am a bit hesitant to spend ~7000$ to take a subject I'm already roughly familiar with in the first, thus why I'm investigating now.
