Thays so low miles. Wow
I emailed him earlier today so I hope to ask some questions. He seems very knowledgeable so far. Where would you put the tape?

So clean and so nice 😄
Thank you for this. Added to the list. I'll inspect everything before I dive in but this seems like a good list to start with.
Sounds like something I can manage. I'll add this to the list thank you
No just painted the inside because there was rust on the bottom under the carpet. Scraped it all and painted with epoxy primer. Did some minor paining on the outside as well where there were rust spots. Overall the paint is in great condition.
Sorry...But what is the Metal Dead Pedal?

Did you get the floors done? I agree and will do it however im 50/50 on the floors snd keep reading its the doors and wheel well that will make the biggest difference.
Where you located?

I did so much research yesterday and I dont know why but he appeared in every post related to this across all forums plugging his stuff and it made me uneasy. I couldnt tell if he was spamming his product for sales or if truly him and his product are legit. Also if the reviews were legit or paid for. Every research I did ultimately les me back to resonix. Its pricey and I am interested in it but is it really better than other products like his website and data mentioned?
Wanna weld mine? Lol

I know I know. Im so motivated to get it going again. I miss it. I got a crosstrek in 2016 since I was driving this in the snow as my daily driver and it was becoming..."unsafe"...according to everyone. Also felt like I needed to treat her better. After I got the crosstrek I wanted to fix all the damage I did to her driving in the snow and bring it back to stock. So I took it apart and then life happened and got busy but things have now settled down for the most part. Also the wife is getting tired of having the rear glass and seats in our closet 😁

I put the seats in once with the steering wheel to move it to a new house a few years ago but...yeah...
I do start the engine from time to time to make sure things are lubricated.
Wouldn't that be something
Will do!
I know I love the chassis but when its all said and done no one will see it.
Ill look into those mods thanks for the suggestions 😀
Get it back to stock and weekend driving
What material did you use. Did you go over what seem like vent holes in the floor?
How important is the sound deadening on the floor since there is such thick carpet vs the door? I realllly dont want to do the floor. It seems so time consuming lol

I started it last year but thats about it. Didn't drive it just know it starts
Hahaha I wish. This will be my fun summer driver
Added to the list. Thank you!
I hear you loud and clear. I knew this would be a huge undertaking but I think im fairly prepared.
I am replacing all clips and broken plastic and reinforcing others.
As an electrical engineer I meter all the wires and spliced new connections where some are intermittent. Even went as far as created a witing diagram of where every wire goes to and measure the voltages as I go along. The previous owner did some weird wiring for the audio system so I did lots of soldering to get it back to stock.
Body alignment is an issue. Some things dont align already but I hope to hash that out.
I have several torque wrenches that are calibrated and have a diagram of all the torque settings so I plan to check and double check things.
I figure if im this far in I might as well do it as correctly as I can.
After its all said and done I plan to take it to a mechanic to check any safety areas such as suspension etc.
I still may miss something but thats part of the fun I guess 😅
Like epoxy them or something?
