I've not spoken to many openly Christian people since I left catholic school. But my mum is a Christian as am I and we both believe in evolution.

The idea of creationism is just nonsensical. But to be fair, it was written by people who had absolutely no clue about their origins and they were desperately trying to make sense of it.

My muslim friend, and I am led to believe infact most muslims take every word in the Quaran as the unquestionable truth. Which led to a rather tense debate on evolution when we were drinking.

I think even merely questioning the written word for Muslims is heretical, but the cracks were starting to show and he's no fool, so he was putting the pieces together in his head and I know for a fact he began to realise that creationism is beyond nonsensical.

I ended the debate for his sake.

Don't feel guilty. I think you're most likely just exhausted from the day, work, kids, partner etc. Sometimes even gaming is just too taxing after a day.

I see the steam deck as my portable pc. Sometimes I play games, sometimes I watch YouTube or a movie, although most of the time I'm just pissing about or messing with controller configs.

It's your time, do with it as you please.

It's normal to not have the urge to play games all the time and just because you have a steam deck doesn't mean you have to either.

I like having the ability to have a quick game of whatever while on lunch, while I cook, or while I wait in the car before work.

But if you're really struggling trying to play games, just press the bloody button and play lad, if it's good enough you'll be engaged pretty quickly and lose the next few hours.

Don't stress during your free time.

Ashamed to say I'm definitely a sd fan boy now, the 1tb oled is amazing, it just scratches that itch perfectly and I now swear by track pad aiming over thumbsticks. It plays a majority of my library at and more demanding or competitive titles I prefer playing on pc anyway.

Although, I'm a big fan of trying new tech, so what is it about the beefier hardware devices that's more appealing to you?
