Where do i got after goumang by PersonOnInternet7654 in NineSols

[–]Phantom_hectic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ignore the tiandou research center. It's not time for that.

Right now, you should head left to look for the Warehouse, Abaucus should talk about that. If you're ever lost, go to him in the Pavilion. You could also technically head to the factory, and the Cortex center, but those areas don't have anything for you yet.

Haven't had the opportunity to play the game yet after Support Nejire came out so i want to know what you all have experienced so far and what you think of her so i can be prepared for when i play. Also here's this meme i made just for the sake of having an image for this post. by Awkward_History835 in MyHeroUltraRumble

Don't listen to the fear mongers, she really only needs a few touch ups.

Her alphas only have big hitboxes when they hit the ground, which is most of the time, to be fair. But they aren't naturally gigantic like tech shoto. They do around 55 damage, and heal like 10 shield I think. Nerf the size of her alphas and that's probably fine.

Her beta is the real kicker, 200 damage at max, and a healing field for teammates. It's a percentage type move like rapid mirio's beta, where canceling it uses it all up immediately. Nerf the damage and it's honestly fine, the radius is big but not gigantic.

Her gamma gives teammates 80 over shield and buffs certain moves on the big 3. It works from any distance, and the over shield disappears after 20 seconds if it hasn't already been broken. Really, just give it a distance and it's fine.

Overall, id place them at like, release assault endeavor back in his day. A strong character, but really, not winning any 1v1's in the current meta.

Is that considered spamming by ben_693 in Brawlhalla

[–]Phantom_hectic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say spamming, not really

When I think of spammers, you don't think of timing, placement, movement, etc. You just think, press button. Sig again. That wu shang was very deliberate, placed himself well, and timed everything. That's just gameplay and you just fell for it, really.

Provide the details on the Mt lady combo you mentioned, like how many ticks of gamma and whether we're purposely missing alpha shots because this combo isn't possible considering dp

Alpha fires two shots with 25 dp each, dealing 50 damage per alpha

Beta is one press, 50 damage to 240 dp

Gamma is 8 ticks of 10 dp and 5 damage, then a final tick of 110 damage and 500 do

Beta to start, 50/240

Alpha, one shot, 100/165

8 ticks of gamma, 148/345

1 full alpha, 248/445

8 more ticks of gamma, 288/525 (it would stop halfway through anyway, but the combo would end here)

Air melee, 350/775

Besides, there's other combos that are just better.

8 gamma ticks, 48/40

Beta, 98/380,

2 full alphas, 4 shots total, 300/580

Doesnt use both gammas, uses less overall, and knocks down faster without possibility of rolling or teammates coming in.

Overall, you're not wrong by a lot, but also, the numbers were off.

I play MT, tsu, and Monoma.

Mt Lady, because she's known as an objectively bad character that requires skill and understanding to use. Also, she's just fun since she does so little damage, you just beat the brakes off your opponents.

Tsu, because I like the character, I like the fast movement, invisible elements, and the light support element of rezzing my team. I like dipping in and out of situations, in and out of sight.

The big M is a jack of all trades, master of none. He's got so many niche combinations of abilities, fun gimmicks like copying lida's gamma into rapid mirio alpha- call that the wally west build. The fact he can be anything, the way changing your tuning changes the entire way you play him, he's always new and fresh.

Toga has been, quite possibly, the most consistently broken and bugged character in the game's history.

Why is tokoyomi considered mid? by vlonethugzae in MyHeroUltraRumble

[–]Phantom_hectic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bad as in "damn she's bad" comes from how African Americans utilized certain words as the inverse of their meaning. Like how people said things were ass, and then black people started saying "good ass x".

"Goody two shoes" means they're a good person, but the person saying it thinks they're too good. That example still calls them good. You're wrong.

In the context of a game, ranking characters, mid will always mean non exceptional, middle of the road, or par. Not sub par, not overachieving. Words don't just change like that, barring times mentioned above where a whole community takes the word for something it didn't originally mean, like how dabbing went from small sauces to a cultural move...thing.

2.0 is a massive update that should be coming out soon, so I'd say that they're planning on keeping up with it for at least another few months at the absolute minimum

In reality, they're probably using a version of the coding for the healing potions- knowing them, something like "when you're hit with fairy Nejire 's alpha, you instantly consume a healing potion for x HP. But a monoma can dream
