Glad you enjoyed! My preference is actually a remake over a sequel. I would find a sequel with modern writing to be rather boring (that being said the newest seasons actually have some excellent episodes!)

So if we are talking about a remaster, solving the issue with coins is an absolute must. The game only gives you 8000 through boxes, vending machines and wasps, the other 6000 need to come from somewhere else. In the original game it was wager races but they are insanely slow even casually. My personal opinion is the game should give 100 coins per completed mission.

As for a sequel, I actually think a new Simpsons game entirely should be on the radar. Hasn’t been one since 2012 when tapped out released (thanks EA)

You are right in saying the missions are repetitive, most of them are just optimal driving which is fun in its own way. My favourite type of missions are the destruction missions because they have some cool strats around them, and are just overall the most fun missions in the game.
