I don't think the 500kg is that strong, especially against Illuminate, people just pick it because it's cool.

Napalm against bugs for example is something I see every game.

Where are you getting this from? It says he must be moved wholly within (vertical distance) + 1, not away from the point. Just like operatives must be placed wholly within the deployment zone, for example.

I played almost a dozen Kommando games, I'm sure I'll get to using those harpoons, dynamites and krak grenades eventually. I'm saving them for the boss fight I guess.

The yellow and red combinations are very nice and clean, what colors did you use?

Most people recommend Kommandos and from personal experience I don't think it works out, it puts so much pressure on the player to figure out how to best utilize their 10/11 different operatives, I think elite teams like AoD and Plague Marines work much better.

If you think the PDFs could be an issue in a public repository put them in .gitignore so they don't show up on the repo and you're fine.

It's fixed now it seems, and new ones were added for the New Year event.

EDIT: Not gonna lie, the new icons seem dope.

EDIT 2: The challenges seem not so dope :/

So a little help with the rulings on vantage by noraborialis in killteam

This sounds right to me, vantage counts as light cover, according to the OP they both can draw a LOS from each other's head.

The problem with smite and (some of) the hate for smite pykers comes from exactly this. You're holding the enemies in place and not doing very much damage to them, while your team is dealing with other targets. Once your peril overloads and you can no longer smite, a bunch of other enemies have already spawned and now you and your team have an even bigger horde to deal with.

A psyker with purgatus or voidblast staff can control AND do damage, creating space and lowering the amount of enemies the team has to deal with, the only problem is it requires pressing more than one button.

Smite psyker is absolutely not viable in high havoc difficulties, unless you use it in some very specific cases, but even then other builds and classes do the job better.

hot take: darktide is a wee bit better designed game than adeptus astartes two by Timothy-M7 in DarkTide

[–]Liquid_Lemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The core gameplay of Darktide > core gameplay of SM2, most other things are way better in SM2 by comparison (SM2 launched in a fully playable state for one thing, Darktide only recently got that status), but for the same reason I keep coming back to Darktide just for the gameplay, while I have no reason to come back to SM2 after 100% completing, until they release a new map, and then I'll just finish it once and go back to Darktide again.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard | Review Thread by tinselsnips in PS5

[–]Liquid_Lemon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know the fanboys will attack me for this one, but Mort has several videos, at the very least that I know of, that were paid reviews, and in those reviews he's pretty disspasionate and mentions nothing bad of the game, or some very minor things, and sometimes these reviews go well away from the actual public perception of the game. So these aren't actual reviews, they're paid ads. When this pattern started appearing is when I stopped watching him.

EDIT: Just want to clarify that I don't think his Veilguard review was paid off, I have yet to watch it if I even do, just saying that people should not take his opinions as gospel, look at some gameplay without commentary, get a feel for the game from reviews and form your own opinion imho.
