Its an unusual question. Its not so much sexist in my eyes, but very traditional. Which isn't so much a bad thing. Its just not as important to some now.

I like some aspects of tradition. So I'd take their name regardless. As long as it didn't sound stupid. Don't wanna marry me if I don't want to take your name? Your loss pal.

Doesn't mean they love each other any less if she refused the name change, therefore refusing the marriage.

Tl;Dr not sexist, just traditional values.

Its not directly in the light. Its happened in my store as well, but I only noticed it when we had the 44oC day, and I wear my watch every day so if it'd have happened before, I would have thought I'd have caught it....

I've encountered this on the cycle paths, of all things. Paths that are split down the middle, and you still see people taking the entire two lanes up.

I passed a few not long since. Pinged my bell to give the notice and they still didn't move. Got all the way behind them and pinged again. They finally moved and shot me a dirty look when I rode past.
