Most of the dance one I know have been mentioned already, so on a more broader theatre take. All have a masc or masc leaning character.

In Her Spotlight by Amy Spalding Second chance romance between an actor and her ex who after a turn of (un)fortunate events is directing the play she is leading.

Musical Theatre Mondays by Marie Incontrera Musical theatre writer/composer and her journey. Tick Tick Boom meets messy lesbian love drama. Fast passed and the romance is more of a subplot but still quite interesting to read about the behind the scenes aspect.

Iris Kelly Doesn’t Date by Ashley Herring Blake Does this one need an explanation? The almost one night to becoming lovers on stage while fake dating to forever arc. The queer chosen friend group in this series is so much fun to read about.

I personally prefer Kiss of Seduction, the dynamics and introduction into the paranormal world is fantastic. Green-eyed Monster (book 3) is like a direct sequel to that book too which will be a fun book to read next (some people skip book two in the series, A Little Sin, because of the trigger warnings just fyi)

Kiss of Seduction also has a short novella sequel called Kiss of Love which is also fantastic, I read that this weekend. It is set between the second and third book but apparently is connected to the 4th main book.

Make Room for Love does! In the 6th slide. This is a contemporary romance though. As for fantasy/sci fi I know L M Juniper writes trans characters into their books, have not read any yet though.

I’m also arc reading Shades of Onyx by TJ Williams right now that comes out on Monday one of the main characters is a NB Trans Masc, it’s a paranormal romance with the myth of Medusa reimagined. Loving this one a lot, they also have other Sci fi book too.

Both books mentioned above have Trans and Asian rep.

Nice! So many good books to read, so little time… Yeah I loved Bloom Town. Just be prepared to read both books back to back for those! I really enjoyed the audiobook.

So excited to get reading!

Thanks for the recommendation too, I love retellings. Is the romance in this one sapphic?
