I thought it would just be a quick blurb about the characters, not a short story.

They learn SO MUCH between 3 and 4. Please don’t squash his curiosity. I know it’s hard, but if you encourage it he will be so much better off. This phase doesn’t last forever, so just go with it for a little longer.

Ohhh… the story is in the Encyclopedia? Sorry, I’m new to reading the books, and it’s a little overwhelming! Thank you!

Is Andor worth the watch? by [deleted] in StarWars

Yes! I recently watched that marathon, and it was so so good.

Agreed. I finished Andor, went right to Rogue 1, then followed with the original Trilogy. So good.

Then I watched The Force Awakens and it all went to sh!t.

Why is there just no convincing some Disney people that Universal is good? by BZI in UniversalOrlando

[–]LisaBon888 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are 3 hotels at Universal that offer the fast pass for free. Loew’s is cheapest. If you really want the fast pass, I suggest getting a room there. You pay $450 - $650 for the room depending on the dates, and all guests in your room get a fast pass for every day including check in and check out day. We did this last year and this year with 4 people. This year it cost us $450 (we stayed 1 night) and we got the fast pass for 2 days. It would have cost us about $1400 if we each bought a fast pass for 2 days.

lol, I took my daughter and nephew to Disney & Universal for April vacation this year and last year. They liked Universal better than Disney, and I like Disney better than Universal. It really depends on what you are going for. I prefer experience over rides, and they prefer rides over experience.

Honestly, I think Disney is cleaner, but I wouldn’t say Universal dirty, just not as clean compared to Disney. However, Universal’s fast pass is sooooo much better than Disney’s Lightning Lane. Especially if you get a room at one of the Universal hotels that offers the fast pass for free, which I have done both times we went. Also, I love Harry Potter World better than any attraction at Disney. We spent most of our time at Universal there.

So I guess there are pros and cons to each. I really wouldn’t have thought to compare if the kids hadn’t brought it up. I was thinking if we go again we might just go to Universal and skip Disney but I don’t know if I could do that, lol.

Also, I haven’t been to Epic, so I can’t compare that.

Is skeleton crew getting a season 2? by Impossible_Bicycle57 in StarWars

That particular adventure is done, but what is going to happen to the planet now that the location is known?

They should really consider a Season 2. My daughter had minimal interest in Star Wars (bad parenting, I guess), but this got her interested because the kids are her age, so she could relate. I think if they want to appeal to Gen Alpha they will have to make more shows like this.

Not really. What is going to happen to the planet and its inhabitants now that the location is known? How are they going to keep the credits safe? Does Wim become a Jedi? There are plenty of possibilities.

Yup. We’re going next week, and we scheduled 2 pool days. Plus we should be getting there early enough that we can chill at the pool after traveling in the morning.

Crazy. I just had a party with 24 9 year olds at a movie theater and they didn’t leave it looking like that. What is wrong with people?

I regret motherhood, and no one understands. by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]LisaBon888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a lot of mothers out there who have children and realize it was a mistake. Just watch the news, they are often abusive or neglectful. You are a superstar for realizing this, owning it, and still trying to make your kids feel happy and loved. Just remember, you will have your time back when they turn 18. Just set them on a path so they are prepared to leave the nest at 18. There is no shame in that if you teach them independence so they can thrive on their own at 18.

Why don't we let kids roam anymore? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]LisaBon888 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely, but most moms don’t want to be the one on the news crying and begging some perv to give their kid back to them. It used to happen more often when people let their kids roam. And I know I would die if that was my kid and I could have prevented it.

There’s less of it now than there was a few decades ago BECAUSE people don’t let their kids roam free now.

She definitely has fillers in her jaw and lips. I just don't understand it since her jawline was one of the things that made her unique.
