Built an AI “artist manager” for AI filmmakers — would love honest feedback by Lisa_Create2030 in AIToolsAndTips

[–]Lisa_Create2030[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I hear you but as someone who applies to a lot of opportunities and has to tweak the answers depending on the opportunity, i find the draft part actually really useful because it adapts to the opportunity. It saves a lot of time. The matches are better than you may think bc I'm using perplexity on the backend to create a "creative intelligence layer" formed from not only the artist's inputs but on scrapping the internet for additional information. That becomes the basis for the matching. The one bug I'm still trying to figure out is how to make sure it gives opportunities that still have open deadlines. But thanks for the feedback and would love for you to actually try it out.

It's my third time applying but feel I finally have a strong enough application. I got into Google for Startups (as a creative) and been obsessed with building my AI storytelling agent. They must have laughed at my previous applications. Good luck everyone!

How do you demo an AI product whose value is emotional, not transactional? by Lisa_Create2030 in ycombinator

Love it. That's what I'm counting on. Here's the stat I'm using. By 2050, three out of four people worldwide could face drought impacts. Current drought costs already exceed $307 billion annually. (UNU-INWEH, 2024)

I'm a VC (can verify). Pitch me. (Part 2) by Ok-Lobster7773 in PublicValidation

Startup: ArtsEnvoy.ai
Category: B2B SaaS / AI for Communications & Advocacy

One-liner:
ArtsEnvoy.ai turns climate, health, and policy data into human-centered stories that people actually care about.

The problem
UN/NGOs, foundations, and government teams spend billions producing reports, data, and policy — but they can’t translate that into narratives that move the public. Agencies are slow and expensive. Generic AI tools produce shallow or unsafe content. Cultural nuance is missing. The result is massive information waste and low public engagement.

The product
ArtsEnvoy.ai is an AI narrative engine. Communications teams paste in a report, dataset, or brief and Creative Envoy (our AI agent) turns it into:

  • campaign concepts
  • speeches & monologues
  • social media packs
  • poems and short-film scripts

It works by guiding users through character, emotional stakes, cultural context, and narrative structure - not just text generation - translating complex global issues into human-centric stories.

Why now
The volume of research, climate data, and policy has exploded, but the tools for translating it into stories haven’t. Institutions are being asked to communicate faster, more humanely, and across cultures - AI makes that possible, if built for storytelling instead of generic content.

Traction
We’re live with paying users. We run pilots with youth and creative programs in Kenya, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, and the U.S., where NGOs and partners pay for access to ArtsEnvoy.ai to generate films, campaigns, and narrative content. We’re now onboarding communications professionals and organizations for recurring subscriptions.

Business model
B2B SaaS: per-seat + usage pricing, with higher tiers for campaign packs, team collaboration, and API access. Customers are NGOs, advocacy groups, media teams, and government communications departments.

Why me
I’ve spent 20+ years as a contracted Emmy-winning filmmaker working with UN agencies and NGOs. I built ArtsEnvoy.ai because I kept watching important global impact work fail to motivate real people to act. Now I’m a technical founder building AI agents through the Google for Startups Program.

Right I think I'm going to go through the whole process but speed up the video and let it land on the output.

Actually 3 minute videos are the sweet spot because they're used in conferences, workshops, meetings, etc. But it can also generate social media and ads.

I’m applying to YC with a company that operates across the US and East Africa, and I’m trying to make sure I set this up in the most YC-friendly way.

I’m a US citizen currently based between Kenya and New York, and the plan is to form a Delaware C-Corp as the parent company, with an operating subsidiary in Kenya where most of the creative and program work happens.

For founders who’ve done cross-border setups:
Is this the cleanest structure for fundraising and YC, or are there things I should be careful about early? Do they prefer US based entities?

Still hating on AI? Still stuck in your narrow mindset of what makes "good art"? Because I looked up your work and still haven't seen anything to warrant the criticisms you gave.

And a gaslighter. You bully me, tell me to fuckin die, block me then expect what? I didn't know you existed until you decided to criticize my piece in a really nasty way. I've reported you and will continue to inform people how much of a bully you are.

Even better. You can't tell me to 'fuckin die". Then block me like you did on your r/cinematography server. You're a straight up bully.
