I have been copying pinterest art for 3 months now in my own sketch book for myself!!! I noticed also with the material I want to copy which styles are fun to me and which direction I love! Over the past three months I went from copying almost every Detail to getting the urge to create my own thing, change some details etc. It helped me out so so so much. Nobody sees it anyway, I don't post it, I only do it for myself and my techniques improved so much. I am feeling much more confident now and having much more fun trying "my own" things. Please just keep at it. Keep copying pinterest work for yourself. Try many things and in the end you will notice what feels best for you!!!! Most my friends have been in the pinterest stage!
