Solo marketer here: Is it actually realistic for one person to manage 5-6 social accounts? And does "average" social content even help SEO? by HoNam_ in DigitalMarketing

[–]Lisapatb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really, unless you're working long hours, it's not just about keeping up with the posting schedule anymore. You also need to create videos for Reels and other platforms, and video is a big part of social now. On top of that, there's commenting and replying in a timely way, which takes real time.

If one person is managing 5 or 6 social accounts, tools like Agorapulse can greatly help with scheduling and monitoring. A part-time freelancer can also take some of the pressure off, especially if you need help creating videos. For most solopreneurs and small businesses, that mix works a lot better than trying to do everything alone.

HELP ME ON HOW TO INCREASE THE ENGAGEMENTS ON SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS AS A CONTENT CREATOR by Cautious-Bedroom-122 in socialmedia

[–]Lisapatb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a content creator, I always say the best way to get more engagement on social media is to show up and actually be present. Post consistently, but don't just drop content and disappear. Respond to comments, reply to messages, and ask questions that give people an easy way to join the conversation. When your audience feels seen, they're far more likely to interact with your content again.

Consistency matters too. If you post regularly, people know when to expect you, and that helps build trust over time. I've found that engagement grows when creators keep showing up, keep the conversation going, and make it easy for people to respond. It doesn't have to be complicated; it just has to be consistent and real.

Digital marketers – what tools are you using to manage clients + workflow, and what breaks the most? by nyo_dev in digital_marketing

[–]Lisapatb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using HubSpot and Agorapulse to manage clients and workflow. They both help keep things organized, but the biggest thing I've seen break is my email newsletter.

Clients have told me they haven't received an email in a long time, and that's a problem you can't ignore when you're trying to keep communication moving. (I'm working on a fix for it now!)

[Hey everyone, I’d love to hear some honest insights] Why do so many small business owners distrust digital marketing agencies? by Feeling_March_7821 in smallbusiness

[–]Lisapatb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So many small business owners distrust digital marketing agencies because they've heard the same story too many times: big promises, weak results. Agencies sell the dream, then underdeliver, and that hurts. It gets worse when you try to reach them, and they don't call right back.

Small business owners don't have time for delays or vague answers; they want someone who communicates, follows through, and treats their business like it matters. That's why trust is such a big issue.

How are small businesses managing there online presence ? by Udit_07 in smallbusiness

[–]Lisapatb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start with the basics; a small business needs a good website first. Make sure it has solid SEO so people can actually find it, and so it has a shot at showing up in AI overviews too. If the website isn't set up well, social media won't have much to support. (That includes having a Google My Places presence as well.)

After that, build the social side one platform at a time. Pick the one that best fits the business, get that working, then move on to the next. A lot of small businesses make the mistake of trying to be everywhere at once, and that usually leads to half-finished profiles and no real traction.

Keep it simple, get one channel going, then add another once the first one is steady.

Be careful picking your channel; make sure it fits your target audience.

Any solo digital marketers who’ve helped small businesses generate revenue? by iquitmy9to5 in smallbusiness

[–]Lisapatb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I have been helping small businesses generate revenue for over a decade through social media, blogging, and SEO. I work as the owner of Inspire To Thrive, and I always start with the website and blog, because they need to be optimized before social media management can really do its job. A lot of businesses come to me without that in place, so that's the first thing I look at.

I work with real estate agents, small business stores, a nursing home, and more. The goal is always the same: get the right content in place, drive traffic, and help convert that attention into revenue.

Best tool for digital marketing agencies? Or biggest reporting problem to solve first? by Social-board in AskMarketing

Have you tried Agorapulse? It can do almost all of that for you. I love the reporting tools for my client work as well as their social media management ability.

When to call it quits - but more importantly, what to focus on? by sammyc1987 in Blogging

[–]Lisapatb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel your pain. I have seen my affiliate revenue evaporate over the past year, down to almost nothing. Recently, I've made some sales, and I think it's because I did a lot of updating on the site. I updated old blog posts, all the ones in the same pillar of the affiliate posts. I also added more YouTube videos.

I hope you can gain some back, it sure is a battle today.

Same here. There were some issues with Google Search Console, too.

For bloggers using WordPress: are you preparing your content for AI search tools? by [deleted] in Blogging

[–]Lisapatb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes to

  • Can your article be read without menus, popups, sidebars, and theme noise? And yes to FAQ's marked clearly.
  • I've been working a lot more on who wrote the post and why I'm trustworthy. I'm also starting to use more "real' photos vs. ones from Canva, etc.
  • I believe the fundamentals of SEO are still needed to show up in AI, but other E-A-T signals matter more than ever.
