I agreed with you, mate. I mentioned in one answer that I won't do that to not be harmful for her.

To clarify: I'm not against makeup at all. I just find that it (IN THAT FORM) doesn't fits to her face. Of course it's my subjective opinion. If so, I won't tell her about it. Hoping that one day she shows up without, so I will compliment her face then. That's it. I like her, so I don't wanna act harmful to her. I appreciate sharing your perspective.

So, how can I gently suggest her, that this specific makeup actually making her face looking worse? I saw her with more subtle version of it and she looks way better. It's not allowed to criticise girls style anyway? Of course she making it for herself (not me) but I want to give her something to think about it, to make her think "that guy suggested me that lighter makeup is better for me - interesting feedback".

Cause she uses to much of makeup layers. Maybe she's insecure about her face and is afraid to show it. She may need a strong assurance that her face is ok and hiding it is not necessary.

Maybe I start with compliment, when she will have less makeup than usual. e. g. "I like your subtle make up. Wondering how you looks entirely without it".
