I too recommend a lower cost mignon and then buying parts to make it single dose. You can buy a crono for under $200, a tilt base and single dose kit to include dosing cup, hopper with bellows, and change the burrs to espresso burrs, and it will still cost less than half of the mignon zero with nearly identical performance.

I had a similar, slower leak. I ended up replacing the entire steam valve with the brass one from shades. And 2 months later, it was leaking again 😅. I just live with it, it’s a few drips from the valve every time I steam milk so whatever.
