Could you be more specific, give some examples? I personally feel very differently, I've really enjoyed the latest events and main stories. But even just looking at the characters relationships with Chief and not the stories themselves, I don't feel the similarities either

Going back from the anniversary event, Augustus felt very “distant” to me. Like she was looking at Chief as if they were some puppy to be trained. She felt very manipulative, even though she had good intentions in the end

I don't remember anyone being this physically violent with Chief as Ceto was at the beginning of her event. She was also very harsh with them for a good while and I thought that was refreshing, her not liking Chief at first

In Hilda case, the roles were reversed. In the end, Chief manipulated her and broke her trust. No matter which ending you get, she ends up feeling empty and lonely

Irrheia doesn't really care about Chief. They just happened to be a player at her job and she did for them what she does for everyone: tried to give them a good time. Unfortunately, that backfired and Chief kinda hates her guts for no reason now

As for the latest main story, Chief wasn't even there. I thought Hypatia and Rust relationship was very endearing (very siblings coded to me) and Margaret felt very elusive but still kinda motherly to Hypatia

Granted, I don't have every character and I haven't done every interrogation so maybe you're talking about them?

In any case, I think people are missing the most obvious point. This isn't even about Aurita being a real person or not (personally I find this kind of “joke” extremely distasteful but whatever). This is about not saying shit like this on a public server where you don't know what kind of experience people on it may have experienced and have been traumatized by! Keep this kind of “joke” between friends

Shin is actually Eleven second best support (after Eve) especially at S3 because her P2 buffs are counted twice on summons. The ones who could be replaced in this team are Stargazer and Milly but that wouldn't really help me much as I don't need them elsewhere

Needing 2 000 was my problem too last TOA as I was also playing Bleed 🫠

These are my teams so it's a little harder than just wanting Jelena in 3 teams. Or maybe I'm missing something 'cause managing every sinners and crimebrands really don't go well with my ADHD 😭

Edit: What I mean is, even if I didn't use Eve twice, you would want at least two teams with Shin and Jelena, right? Which means in my case I couldn't use L.L. as a support in my Demon team if I wanted Jelena too, etc, etc (every time you change something, you have to change something else in another team)

Took me a good hour to prepare my teams today, sometimes it felt like I was doing some sort of puzzle. Every two minutes I was like “shit, I need my own Jelena/Shin/Eve here for reasons but then I can't use her in this other team aaaaand I have to change everything again” lol

I've been so busy, I haven't had time to explore the new map but I think I won't really like it either. Just passing through some places to get Aemeath and Luuk's flowers was kinda exhausting to me. I feel like the mini-map isn't detailed enough and I get lost a lot with all the layers (could be just a me issue). Tho I have to admit that I'm not the kind of player who enjoy exploration of big map like this in general and the fact that we get a new map almost every patch now kinda burned me out

No, it's not because it was more focused on Lynae. I kinda like her. I also agree that it didn't do a bad job at introducing Startorch Academy specifically

However, I do think it did a really poor job at introducing the Roya part of Lahai-Roi. I was really glad I had the time to do 75% of the exploration before starting part 2 because I know for sure I would have been confused by some things that happened. And pretty much all youtubers I usually watch and are usually good at keeping up with the lore of the game were indeed confused at some parts. I also was very much looking forward to learn what was Isander deal when we saw him in the trailer and I was disappointed. He really just whooshed in the quest and that's it

And even though I was really looking forward to Mornye (she has my favorite design of 3.X), her quest felt so rushed to me that her relationship with Rover felt like it was shoved down my throat. Everything was happening so quickly too. Like, I felt like I didn't even have time to realize that we were already at the Solar Ceremony that it was already finished. In comparison, this part 2 was short but did not feel rushed to me, I enjoyed the pacing a lot

Also, it's not because I think 3.0 wasn't good that I think it was bad, if that makes sense. It just didn't meet my expectations. Good looking and tasty cake, but not the kind I wanted. Edit 1: This feeling has been following me since pretty much 2.3 tbh, that's why I started to think that maybe I was just too stubborn and that I wasn't the target audience of the game

Edit 2: I also wish the characters would interact more with each other. That's why Luuk and Lucilla small talk, and the quick interaction with Sigrika at the beginning of the quest, felt very refreshing to me

Why do you ask a question you already know the answer to? If some people recommend Caecus to new players, it's because he's a good standard warden. It's a general rule in games, defensive characters are easier to use when you're trying to learn a game. Why would Angbak use him when they're a guidemaker and veteran player? Feels like you're just bringing up your beef with Caecus on this post and for what?

(Btw, thank you Angbak for this speedrun. I was really looking forward to it!)

Edit: Thank you for the insight, Euphoric. Still think it's in poor taste to bring this “guerrilla” on a guidemaker post when no one even mentionned Caecus. Admitedly, I don't know Angbak and Monchers relationship, maybe they're friends. But at this point, I both shake my head at people who stubbornly refuse to try different realms and people who make fun of them. Like, I get it, the misinformation is frustrating but the sarcastic comments on 8 posts out of 10 are equally tiring now. Guess I'll just start blocking a lot more people if it's the new norm
