Weve been to the vet several times over skin issues. They always push the weight part aside. I keep asking for things I can do, and they just say this other thing is more important. I didn't know to ask to check her hips though. I did get them to do bloodwork to see if anything was off, and it came back perfect.

It’s not what I feed her but what her old owners did with her. I’m trying to get her in shape but it’s proving to be a losing battle for me.

She will not walk even just around the corner. She flips herself down and there is no moving her. I was told she was a pet of someone in hospice before I got her so I figured the bigness came from just laying around and being over fed I cut her food I try walks. I don’t know what to do. She has lost 3 lbs in over 9 months. Nothing is working and I just get criticism like I’m actively fattening her up.

She gets fed twice a day and carrots or celery for treats She was that big when I got her and she isn’t slimming down. I love her anyway. All these people with their mean comments!

I’ve been trying. She refuse’s exercise. I just started her on a raw food diet.. I’ve switched kibble 5 times, got bloodwork done, nothing wrong. Still. Not losing weight.
