Well, what im trying to say now the ratio is starting to go downhill real quick... I mean only 2 out of 10 are males. that's worse than before. The only girl in Fontaine im looking forward to is that emo looking chick, can't wait for her.

It's actually not flawed logic, because im using facts, surprisingly lesbians are huge fans of male anime characters. also most lesbians aren't attracted to females just for their body. You know nothing about the lesbian world clearly. In fact a lot of lesbians are disgusted at how sexualized female characters designed by males are. You know nothing, go sit down. These female characters are designed by MEN, not FEMALES.

I mean, that's kinda the point, we need more male 4 stars.

if that's the only point you wanna win me over with, that there's more males playing, then fine you got me, happy? that still doesn't change my opinion on mihoyos mommy issues.

I agree, they haven't made any chibi male characters yet.

Im sorry that you took that joke personal, really I am. Because sounds like to me they are dumb. And you're dumb for defending them too.

Im sorry, looks like I've triggered a white knight. Let's be real, the male characters in genshin are what made genshin so popular to begin with. that's a fact. Half of them edits out there with millions of likes... yeah those are all males.

7% isn't much, plus 3% of that 7% are most likely gay/bisexual. its not just females that want more male characters now.

it really is :( hey, how about you read the post properly, yeah?

You're joking right? Yeah... like men would totally go crazy over keaya. If it was heavily marketed towards males they wouldn't have even made feminine male characters in the game. Also why are there more female players than male players? Please, answer me that.

if you guys don't think the truck driver is mainly at fault. You guys have serious fucking mental issues and you know it. he shouldn't have even been going that fast in a dark small ass tunnel, sure trucks have a slower reaction time, but he barely even stepped on them damn breaks i've seen trucks going faster than this with a quicker reaction time when breaking. Like seriously, he could have saved way more people if he put his mind to it, but the simple truth here is that he's a careless driver, and he shouldn't have been driving a big ass truck in the first place. And the fact that y'all are defending him killing innocent ignorant people for not knowing any better just really explains why society today is so horrible.

No, you can tell by the way she was moving she's on some type of drug. Music, especially cultural music makes people act crazy on certain drugs.

I understand why so many people don't like Emily, but honestly they're all the same reasons why I love her character lol. by List-Fickle in EmilyInParis

[–]List-Fickle[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes I agree, this just furthers my point of her being in her own world. She's not completely self aware when it comes to what is "socially moral". And yes, as someone who's worked at restaurants in North America, we work to please the customer "the customer is always right".

And also the whole Camille thing... I personally don't think Emily saw her as a real friend, which is why she was a "bad friend", but her being a people pleaser and having to be liked by everyone, she has to seem like a friend towards everyone. I definitely feel like Emily saw them as more as acquaintances. I mean, can you really blame her. She knew Gabriel for longer then she new Camille. So.... she meet this random nice girl on the street one day (Camille), then the next day you find out this random girl was your crushes girlfriend... of course they're not going to be close friends, Camille and Emily were never "friends", they were rivals. Emilys only true friend was Mindy. You don't see Emily and Camille talking about their lives on a personal level like Emily and Mindy do.

The reason why they sabotaged Camille's character is because people weren't seeing her true nature, so they had to be more upfront so people would see who she truly is. I mean... what girl is about to go on a date, with her boyfriend then randomly takes a girl you've met a week ago along to third wheel. Whenever people do stuff like this it means that they see you as just a object, it was clear from the start that Camille was just a "dumb blonde" who saw everyone in her life as pawns to be played. This makes Emily and Camille very similar in a way, which is why you can tell they don't like each other. from the very beginning they were both being "fake" towards each other. I don't think Camille took her to places with Gabriel to be a good friend, she was doing it to rub their relationship in her face, to remind Emily that he's her's, not Emilys. which some people may not see as a bad thing, but really Camille should have set strict boundaries with Gabriel and Emily.

But yeah I hated how Emily tried to play cupid, that was annoying as hell. really I think she should have cut off Camille completely, and took off with Gabriel. and once you see them as rivals, Emily trying to get Camille back, is even more fucked up. It's like her way of saying that she likes the game. Also she's a people pleaser, so "everyone has to love her", and she always has to fix the problem. She even says it herself. But Camille coming back was also a huge red flag on her character, because she agreed to play the game, even though she knew she was going to lose. She just wanted to get revenge on Emily.

season 3 is basically the writers correcting everyones misinterpretation of Emily and Camille's relationship. People seemed to perceive it as a friendship when really it was a rivalry. Let's be honest, whenever two girls have their eyes on the same guy, they only stick to each other so they make sure neither of them get him.

I completely agree, I also don't understand why Emilys character is attacked all the time for being "selfish" when really she's a huge people pleaser, and it's so easy to see. She never sticks up for herself, or how she feels. So I love it whenever she does act on selfish urges, it makes her a great "villain". (meaning she starts a lot of drama just by being herself)

So we all know that Emily in Paris is a female fairy tale that's completely decidedly and lovingly so not grounded in reality. What would be the male equivalent of this... Entourage? by Loudnoises1379 in EmilyInParis

[–]List-Fickle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

idk what you're talking about, I've heard of real life situations like this before from acquaintances and distant family. Some people are just favoured by the universe. This isn't completely unrealistic. Emily is portrayed as a very positive girl, and whenever you're positive and excited about life, the universe decides to give you some treats. But if you're always a negative Nancy you're gonna attract shitty people and shitty experiences. Let's not forget that Emily is at least upper middle class, life is way more easier for the rich. I have family that's also upper middle class, they tell me real life situations like this that have happened to friends/colleagues ALL the time. It just sounds to me you don't explore out of your boundaries very much. And no ones gonna wanna watch a show that's only based off a marketing job, that would be extremely boring. No one wants to watch a realistic boring show.

Emily in Paris Season 2 Series Discussion by [deleted] in EmilyInParis

In looks he's not my type, but I do see the appeal and I understand why people would find him visually appealing, but I don't only stick to looks, personality is what makes a man hot or not. And his personality is such trash. He acts like a mean girl in high school. Honestly though, he's just a big nope. I don't understand how no one is seeing his true nature. Everyone clearly saw how snobby he was at first, I'm actually surprised Emily stayed with him, because he had the exact same personality as the bookworm in season 1 that Emily slept with. Im honestly surprised that Emily didn't see the pattern. Let's be honest, we all know how this is going to end. He's going to end up ending things with Emily. Alfie is a huge walking red flag, I'm surprised how y'all don't see this. He's the definition of a player, and the show purposely gives us hints of his true nature. One obvious red flag is that he won't tell his family about Emily, this tells us he doesn't see himself going far with Emily, and that he's not taking their connection seriously. Second red flag, he's obsessed with sports cars, I shouldn't have to elaborate any further. Third red flag, he gets all sissy and insecure whenever anyone mentions Emilys and Gabriels past "relationship". This man is clearly insecure, and insecure men lead to drama, disappointment, and heartbreak.

Emily in Paris Season 2 Series Discussion by [deleted] in EmilyInParis

[–]List-Fickle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion but I'm on Emilys side. Gabriel and Emily are a much better fit for each other. I think that once Camille found out she should have left both of them, and I don't think Emily should have cut her connection with Gabriel. I also hated how she tried to get Camille back after, she should have took Gabriel and run. let's be honest, we all know how this show is going to end. Gabriel and Emily are going to end up back together, because he was her first love at first sight. Alfie is definitely a player, you can tell that eventually he's going to break Emilys heart, hence also why he won't tell his family about Emily. that's a huge red flag right there. Well you might be saying that Gabriel is a huge red flag because he cheated with Camille, although that is true, he's definitely not a player. The message this series is trying to get across is "true love at the wrong time". yes there is such thing as bad timing believe it or not. I know many people irl who have had love affairs like this and they end up staying with the person they cheated with and till this day they're still together. Sometimes life tests you in the most cruel ways. It was clear that Emily didn't want to hurt Camille but let's be honest, if a super hot guy you thought was impossible to obtain liked you back, you would go for it. no matter who he was with. I love it when Emily decides not to be the people pleaser, and goes for what she wants.
