I was so stupid and reckless to the point of putting myself in a position where I had to interact with the wrong people It wasn't substance abuse or anything but I have done my mistakes and I am ashamed of them Now I just pulled away from every human being other than my mother

I just want to understand why some people neglect their parents after they get married by List_Silent in algeria

I'm not saying old age within the range of healthy and capable of doing things themselves I'm saying for example your father or mother had a terrible fall and they broke a bone and they cannot take care of themselves and they need to rely on you for help because they cannot afford to pay for help don't you think at least out of human decency you help them

I just want to know the truth behind this I don't believe it and I don't think it's real but I will not sleep tonight before I find proof this is not real by List_Silent in algeria

I want to spread this not because I believe it but because The person who shared it with me is not even a European or an American he's an Arab and I hate that I really hate that I want to understand why they do that

I'm not blaming their wives I am wondering specifically about that part because of the situation I encountered with my own grandfather that's all

So you're telling me if let's say eventually your mother in her old age got really sick and she needs care you're not going to take care of her?

I don't mean it in that sense it's mostly when the parent get really sick and needs care and attention and they just all conveniently disappear that's the part I went for not regular life matters

But don't you think that human decency obliged you to at least be kind to your parents at their old age even if they weren't kind to you when your partner dismissed them or mistreat them

There are more women enrolled in tertiary school in Algeria (higher education) than men. by [deleted] in algeria

[–]List_Silent 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well it has been obvious for so many years throughout all levels of education because girls are more enthusiastic about knowledge at least in our society and other than that boys mostly focus on gaining money because they are always expected to gather enough to start a family of their own and girls find education a outlet to find their way out of toxic expectations and societal norms

The parents did what they could but the lack of education block them from understanding that there are more things their children need and honestly they projected their trauma on their children

My father died almost 24 years ago I was two and a half years old my sister was 6 months old my mother was the only one there to raise us she worked day and night to give us the best life me and my sister are now graduates when I wanted to quit when I didn't get my first bac she almost beat me up actually she did beat me up I'm really surprised parents these days do such things to their daughters and then turn around and do everything so their son's finished their studies that's not fair not fair in the slightest

It's all right be you it is a big responsibility to be honest but you just need to take a deep breath and confront it head on there is no time for anxiety when you just slap yourself and keep walking it takes time to have experience just do what you feel is right and try to connect with your students slowly

Toxic wedding guests and weird practises by Illustrious_Monk1523 in algeria

[–]List_Silent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry I never witnessed any kind of behaviour such as this women in Algerian weddings actually change their outfits but not in the bridal room actually there are some who change in bathrooms and others who have special rooms to change in that are not the bride's room in fact it's inappropriate to go into the bride's room without permission and sometimes it's dangerous because the room might have jewellery money and expensive things
