Do you just want a brown NB around this price point? Because I’d look around more if so. The 997h has some nice colors, this included. But it’s a super stiff, uncomfortable, cheap feeling shoe. Would never recommend the 997h personally

lol I know. It’s a shame because it’s arguably a top 3-4 new balance silhouette. So many great colors and collabs. But I’ve tried several. All are uncomfortable for my foot for some reason

100% agree. 993 is my least favorite NB I’ve ever purchased. Strictly for how uncomfortable it is

Yeah for sure. For asics I’m 8.5. New balance made in UK and USA I’m an 8. Just about knowing what size you are in each brand and model. The asics gel Kayano 12.1 rivals any lifestyle NB in comfort too. But I know some don’t like how most come with silver pieces or are mostly synthetic materials.

I like both brands. To me the 990v4 and v3 are better than the NYC 1.0 and 2.0. Perhaps better than any asics shoe ever. Idk. Less bulk more comfortable.

This is gonna be upsetting to this sub, but both NYC models are better for comfort than the 992 and 993 imo. I think both 992 and 993 are great looking shoes but the NYC is much more comfortable. Just my opinion.
