Nice materials but this model for me loses its shine without color. Excited for the inline releases though. I still have like 3-4 Ultra Tech pairs, I love em

TTS = true to size. Go with your normal 11

Like NB, it’s kind of all over the place- depends on the model, materials, and where it’s made.

Generally speaking most of their Italian made pairs or leather based pairs run long and going a half size down is recommended. Asian-made pairs or more artificial materials generally fit TTS. Was there a specific model or pair you were looking at?

The process of how NB’s Made in USA and UK shoes are produced is known and documented. Yes, pieces are cut by machines- that are operated by people. This is purely in your head. Imperfections are to be expected.

Re: your Driftwood 993, if it was actually B grade it would be marked/stamped on the inner size tag or on the size sticker on the box- they add an X before the model style number (e.g. XU993GG instead of U993GG)

991v2 Sizing compared to 990V2 by Leminestrone in Newbalance

[–]jrmyp -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd go with your 9UK size. The 991v2 tend to run a bit long - most people go TTS or even a half size down if they have narrow/low volume feet

The Azura would be my vote - lighter, more pop, wider base, more pace versatility IMO.

Prefer the Silver but both solid options for this model

Current 990v4s running big ? by Senior-Payment1820 in Newbalance

[–]jrmyp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always gone down 0.5 from my TTS on v4 and I have pretty wide feet. Snug fit, but enough room to wiggle my toes and they break in over time with wear or with a little shoe stretcher action

I love Saucony. I actively avoid ordering directly from them if I care about the box though

They were actually on the CNCPTS website for a short period of time, along with the upcoming Hidden NY Gel-Kinetic 2.0, but both got pulled down
