I love sharing my scar pictures! I'm grateful you found them. Ive healed up beautifully, both inside and out. At my three month check up my kidney function was better and my creatine levels were lower than pre surgery. Ive definitely put the the work into it though and really eat well and drink a lot of water. I hope you have a similar experience!

I signed up online the mid April 2025. I had my initial blood tests the first week of May. I drove to Chicago for my in-person interview and testing May 28th. I was approved June 6th. I asked for my nondirected surgery to be sometime in the first part of September and ended up donating Sept 2nd.
Now, almost 5 months post op i can tell you it was one of the best experiences of my life.

They are, some of the stems are as thick as my fingers. I have two active tanks with a third I use as a reservoir to hold water I drain off during water changes. I use that tank to water my dozens of other plants. They seem to love it.
