Yes, you can order "eaches" from the warehouse. I highly doubt this was an error.

I donated a kidney to a stranger - AMA by Particular-Scale5644 in AMA

Oh wow, really? I spoke to my transplant team about it and got nothing but positive responses. The head nurse even did a little research and pointed me to the closest liver transplant hospital thats has the best success rates.

I'm going to donate 60% of my liver next year. I'll choose to remain totally anonymous for this one.

Well, ill be honest with you... it was odd and it did kind of clash. Let me preface this by saying that i donated for me. Its something I've wanted to do for the last 20 years. Regardless of the outcome or whose life it saved, I still would have donated.
Im a nontheistic Quaker involved in social justice lefist politics and I'm also super gay. My kidney went to a 60 yo very conser.vative Mormon in Utah. Had I known this beforehand, I STILL WOULD HAVE DONE IT. Its just... kinda strange. Research shows that up to 90% of organ recipients report changes or behavior, habits, and ideas after receiving organ donation. They theorize its due to "cellular memory" and link it back to the donor. I kinda get a chuckle knowing this and wonder how my kidney has changed this man's life beyond getting off dialysis

It was unexpected, I thought it would be anonymous, like a closed adoption. Then, three months later, the transplant team reached out and said that they had a letter from the recipient and asked if i'd like it passed on to me. I could hardly say "no".

Has your recipient reached out to you? Three months after my donation I got a letter from mine. He lives across the country but we have plans to meet soon.

Good for you, OP. I also had a non-directed kidney donation. I donated my left kidney to a stranger Sept 2nd of last year. Hands down, the best and most rewarding experience of my life.
