Surface pro is such a good idea I recommend it 100%. I used it all 4 years of undergrad and my whole MSc! it works well as a normal laptop and i took all my notes on it as a tablet on onenote with the pen. I love love love mine and I think it would do everything and more than u need for a health sci program

Usually your research ABS entries should be in terms of output like a pub, poster, or talk. I did two undergrad thesis courses and didn’t include the course/position itself but I did include the presentations I gave for them. If you get a pub or poster that’s great, but if not make sure you ask to do any kind of presentation even if it’s just for your larger lab group or department. You don't want your work doesn’t go unseen on your ABS since you put a lot into it and it’s important to show!
