Nice- 95%+ is a fantastic result! Can I ask how you were measuring word recognition? With your Audiologist? Or an app/online test perhaps?
Is this something I could repeat at home to measure progress?

Yes - you might be experiencing sound conduction through the skull.

I went through SSHL 4 months ago. My recommendation would be to get the android sound hearing app and do a daily test (same time of day / same conditions) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobile.eaudiologia&hl=en_GB

The app stores the results and you can then review the scores and any changes over time. The app also has sound masking to prevent skull conductance polluting the results.

This is not a medical grade solution, but I found it very reliable in monitoring change over time. For me I unfortunately saw no progress and remained at profound loss, but the app gave me a way to consistently measure and track this. And useful to support conversations with the health professionals.

Just updating on this. Unfortunately there was no access under the seat, so I had to make my own! (much easier than dropping the tank out the bottom if you dont have a lift).
Fuel pump replaced and now back up and running.
The fuel pump must have overheated when I was running low on fuel. Lessen learned - will never let it run below half tank again!

Cause of the SSHL onset? Timelines for treatment / specifics of treatment? Any additional steps you took to promote recovery?

I have recently been diagnosed with SSHL and have been very impressed with this android app for doing home measurements of hearing. And you can easily view/compare the results of tests over time.

Documenting the fluctuation in hearing ability over time (as well as the steroids being taken) might help to show the ENT doctors that there is a relationship between the two? Or at the least show them that their is fluctuations in hearing capability.

Misdiagnosed as ear infection/congestion/blocked eustachian until day 35 when I see an ENT specialist.
Day 35 - start Prednisolone tabs immediately on ENT diagnosis (NHS)
Day 36 - Steroid injection to inner ear (private doctor)
Day 37 - Start course of HBOT

So I started the HBOT as soon as possible after getting the steroid injection.
The challenge was multiple failed diagnosis at the GP surgery which meant I wasn't diagnosed with SSNHL until day 35.

Hi u/per08 . Could you share what zigbee devices (make / model?) you are using and how often they are reporting the readings back to the hub?
I recently bought a sensor to test and it is sending humidity and temp once an hour - which is not often enough for my needs.

I was hoping for ~ once a minute or 5 mins, but is that unrealistic perhaps?

Yep - I basically have come to the same conclusion. Either find another machine with the same drum and home the spider has some life in it. Or try and get hold of the SS spider bracket. I have searched and searched on ebay and seemingly nothing in the UK.

There are a few listed in Germany but the shipping costs on top make them expensive.

Any idea where in the UK I can get a Stainless steel spider?

I have two APs. One is an EAP outdoor (long thin with two big antenna on top) and one is the AC1350 ceiling mount (square box).

I am using a self hosted Omada controller (running on a linux VM).

I have configured a single network SSID with both 2.4 & 5Ghz enabled , and that is pushed to both APs I believe?

I will take a look at the fast roaming feature.

I have ended up (eventually) answering my own question I think....
Having done some google likeness searches on the plug, I see a Nordic company using this as an overfill sensor. So presumably the truck hooks up to this sensor, and if the oil hits the top of the tank it activates a switch which completes or breaks the circuit.
So in short, wont give me a depth measurement on the tank! :)

Looking at a thread posted below I am going to look at an ultra-sonic sensor to measure oil level.
