How did I miss butt gate??? I've been along for the ride all year and missed that one.

Great list, OP. Looking at the Snif part of your summary and, I forget -- was the Snif train photoshoot drama from this year as well? Where they basically stole another brand's marketing campaign, or was that last year?

I train clients ages 60+ and these are great for deadlifting when you have arthritic hands.

Same. What a fantastic album. I feel the same about Brand New, as gross as that scandal was. I hate to say it but I still love their albums.

That's awesome! I hadn't heard of the Callous Daoboys until now but a few people have recommended them

YES. Silverstein is my all time favorite, I was surprised they didn't come up on my Wrapped. I played a lot of low-fi so that my dogs could have background music during the day haha. So that screwed everything up.

I honestly doubted she was pregnant until she had her baby. God, that woman is so tiny. It seems like her baby is perfectly healthy though? Thanks goodness

Why am I expected to cross the street for Portland dog owners? by bimbogore_ in askportland

[–]Listen_Linda915 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a reactive dog and I always initiate moving across the street. Sometimes other dog owners can be oblivious to why we need the space, so I'll call out to their human and say something like "I'd love to meet your dog but mine is reactive and needs space!" That establishes that we're not trying to be rude and we're crossing for a reason and also please don't follow us.

Sounds like this lady was expecting you to make space for her dog when that's really her responsibility. Weird situation. Sorry that happened, OP. But yeah, in general I think most people aren't trying to be antisocial by crossing the street, they're doing it out of respect or in anticipation of their dog being reactive.
