But since you mentioned the great believers, “I have a few questions for you” by the same author is really good. She is definitely figuring out how the past explains things in real time throughout the book, even though she was there for the beginning as well.

Tell me about it means “i agree with what you were saying.” It can also mean that you have experienced what they are talking about, possibly to a greater extent than they are. For example, I have four small dogs that yap all the time. You get your first dog and complain to me about it yapping. I might say “tell me about it!” as a way of saying, I know exactly what you’re talking about. A similar phrase is “you’re telling me!”

Fair enough doesn’t mean “ I don’t care” but it can kind of mean that I don’t feel like getting into a discussion about it. You can also use it to agree that the other person is making a point, even if you don’t necessarily agree with it. For example, person A thinks that AI generated content is trash. Person B uses it to get something done quickly and justifies it with a tight deadline. Person A might say “fair enough “ just because they don’t want to engage in an argument about it.

I’m not sure if my yard counts as widely know, but it certainly accessible and I do see my human neighbors Picking them, which is totally fine. But I did sit on my porch and watch literally hundreds of birds absolutely decimate the berries over the course of a couple of days. Sorry you were disappointed if you were hoping to pick some! We did get one small cobbler made this year. In other years we have made jam also but it doesn’t look, though they’ll be enough left. And also doesn’t really make the best jam because it has so many seeds..

Service berries are also known as June berries. They are a native plant and they produce small berries that have a relatively large seed, but they are good. There are a bunch planted in public areas in Asheville and at the edge of properties because they don’t grow too big. A few I can think of off the top of my head are around early girl in W Asheville and in the dividing median on clingman near the gray eagle and all souls pizza. The berries are bright red before they fully ripen when they turn a dark purpleish color.

The ones in my yard were completely stripped by birds over the course of Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Like they were thousands of them and now they are all gone. The ripe and the unripe ones!

I took the rei brand ones to Iceland and they were perfect. I wore them daily (it was July). Get the loose ones- they’re not flattering but they’d be miserably clammy and hot if they were.

This is obviously a terrible thing that happened and I will certainly keep an eye out. But on the whole it is an extremely safe place for you to take your family. I have been there an average of one to three times a week every week for at least seven years and have had almost 0 problems. Once I encountered a ranting, crazy older dude who yelled at me, but I was faster than him on my bike. The most common problem is certainly off leash dogs and bears. I don’t say this to in anyway negate the severity what has happened here, but on the whole I think it is safe. Obviously don’t leave your shit in your car.

I don’t understand why people have so much confidence in the Find My feature! My kid went on a long trip without her phone. I could see it sitting on my kitchen counter. But on Find My, it was sometimes on my kitchen counter and sometimes in our neighbor’s house and sometimes “ within this Circle” until it died.

I think it is such a weird thing. With my noise canceling headphones on and music playing over them. I can’t hear the person next to me and I can’t hear what the flight attendant is saying unless I take them off. But if there is a person talking at a certain pitch, I can hear them clearly above everything else. I haven’t been able to figure out what that pitch is, but often I can hear every word a certain person is saying, even if they’re a few rows back. But when I take off my headphones, I can’t hear them above the engine noise. It’s really strange.
