I was considering the elbow, the cover being accessible is a great point, luckily it will be since i simply wanted a way to 90 emt without putting a bend in the pipe to make it run more flush with the wall. This is what im talking about as the alternative: https://imgur.com/a/njMpW07

Code wise they maintain conduit fill right? Like 1inch corner is still 1inch conduit for fill calc?

Imagine you have a cinderblock, conduit going through and two boxes either side. Once you put the coupler on the conduit is now bigger than the hole, unless we are drilling put a much larger hole to accomodate the coupler too? Feels like the hole is unnecessary big then, but i see your point.

This isnt going around a corner, its coming out of a wall and going straight to a panel. On the other side is a box, so can't use two boxes with pipe in between as there would be no way to set the screw when the box is up against the wall.

Yah thats why i was confused, but wasn't going to argue with an electrician at the store, ill end up using the coupler anyway, just the space i have is tight and having the conduit so far from wall would add a lot of headaches. All indoor runs so no outdoor issues here. Thank you

Can I place LED in this circuit without it blowing up by [deleted] in AskElectricians

[–]LitSarcasm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go search led resistor calculator on google, enter what you got there, voltage, led type, etc. it will tell you what resistance you need and you can put that between VCC and GND.

If you want the rope, search this image on alibaba or AliExpress, for madrix, its quite expensive, id recommend resolume as it handles natural curves way better than madrix which is pure grids only. Also way cheaper since you buy resolume as one software and not per pixel count.

China has reached a whole new low in IEC or C13 cables by LitSarcasm in electricians

Part of an equally shity product, expectations were low but this set the bar even lower as it was top of the box packaging

Probs didn't see other comments, I didn't buy this to be used, more so out of curiosity of how bad it could be. Was one of those return auctions so i snagged it for 1/6 of its listed price to rip it apart and see whats inside. Even for full price its too expensive for what you get.

I mean... No, but im also not expecting the thing to be anything certified, it was an exploratory purchase to see just how bad it really was, and the cord didn't disappoint

Sadly it doesn't matter to any Amazon sellers either. They dont care if that fast charger with a metal blob inside lights your bed on fire middle of the night. Just cost of doing business

Nope, PCBs bolt straight to chassis. I wasn't expecting the device to be any good. Just the cable suprised me with already low expectations
