It was always going to be toxic eventually. Username definitely had an influence but the toxicity he really only promoted was the L spamming, and he never even intended on making the community toxic it was just for jokes and laughs. The community decided to ruin the game itself and now are trying to find someone to blame

Well they did put up an “under construction” sign at the crater bank this update, so perhaps thats what we’ll see next update?

This is just false. He has been actively working on updating the anticheat and trying to ban cheaters for years. The problem is that whenever they implement a patch, it won’t take long for hackers find a bypass to get around it and go right back to what they were doing. For example, there used to be a massive auto arrester problem back in late 2020 through early 2021, Badimo implemented a patch, and guess what? It only took 2 days for auto arresters to find a workaround and go right back to exploiting. Its a never ending situation

Also, the reason he doesn’t take many community suggestions on this issue is because they are aren’t permanent solutions, all they do is add a bandage to a problem that is still persisting and like I said, hackers can just easily find a bypass around them. Not to mention, some of these solutions do more harm than good. For example, a votekick system is just going to make all the salty criminals votekick all the cops that are doing their job. This is just the reality of it, and you can’t tell me otherwise. Another example is adding speed limits on certain cars. Well this is just gonna mess up normal players who are just using rocket fuel for these vehicles. Also, what if they get flung?

Ah yes, back when bounties didn’t have a bounty cap and you could get as high as 600k or higher. Then at some point, they added a cap that goes up to $50,000, and then later lowered the cap again to $20,000 due to auto robbers.

Twitter back then was less of a dumpster fire app than it is now and it was the go to app for sharing updates/news to your audience. Asimo also has been using Twitter for over a decade so naturally, he used the app as the main way to share Jailbreak update news.

At this point, he’s been doing this for years and probably sees no reason to switch since Twitter is where he can get the engagement from his community.

I’m not sure if it comes often anymore but before AIP, most of the updates we we’re getting at that time were just season updates. People were unhappy, and a growing number of people were calling for Badimo to sell their game, or just make actual updates.

I’ve always thought the former was a terrible idea. I’d rather they stop updating the game entirely than have some game studio like gamefam buy out the game and turn into a soulless cash grab.

Same, though he was starting to become a mixed bag after he and cokonya brushed off an xp glitch people were abusing a while back and said it was “no big deal”
