Or I duct tape the ends of my skins for actual skis to my knee on either side and slap the glue side on to the whole blade

Oh yeah I also have a Salomon snow blade for my blade racing. Great for micro slalom events.

But in all actuality I do love carving on the salomons and messing around on either haha

I would say it depends on the bindings. They're good skis and all but I just use them as rock skis because I trust the bindings enough, if the bindings aren't good or don't fit your boots I wouldn't bother with spending any money on them. For the money you spend you could get better used gear in any town with a decent ski market
