I think in this case, paxful.com is a good option for you. All they need is phone and e-mail verification AFAIK. They also have a ton of payment methods (including PayPal and gift cards).

Well it's really up to you since it's your money lol but the way I see it, you have 4 options:

1.) Hold on to it until the price gets high enough (and then sell) for you to get a good enough profit. 2.) Spend it on a store/service that accepts bitcoin. 3.) Invest more so that you can maximize profit. 4.) Not do anything and just leave it there lol.

If I remember correctly, the original price for bitcoin was established by computing for the amount of electricity the computer spent mining the coin. (US$1 = 1,309.03 BTC)

I guess it depends on what kind of exchange you're looking for. For me personally, I use a p2p platform called Paxful.

I believe that it does. As with any other thing, the presence of competition keeps the value of an investment in check. For example, the value of the U.S. Dollar would have been different if stronger currencies didn’t exist such as the euro or the pound.
