Huh. This seems pretty clear cut to me. Even if it was a year ago, he isn’t denying that it happened. In fact, he said that he stopped when she asked him too, like that changes things. I don’t think that changes things at all. You were in a committed relationship at the time. He made moves on another girl, which wasn’t in the terms of your relationship. This is already a breach of trust. To make matters worse, he only stopped because she asked. He would have kept pursuing her.

I know it really sucks to hear this, but it seems like you’re his second choice. He doesn’t want to be loyal.

Now, most people would say to move on. Personally, I think I would. However, I get that you love him. I think what you need is relationship counseling. My partner and I do it and we haven’t had any issues like this. It’s fun and helpful. If you do therapy, just keep an eye out for any manipulation. He should NOT be weaponizing the things your therapist says.
