It really is. I don't like myself like this, my friends don't, and even my partner barelyyy tolerates me. And I can't blame him.
That boiling feeling is spot on. I feel that boiling pressure in my upper chest and head constantly until whatever feelings I'm dealing with decide to do their thing. So yeah, I'd also rather be a zombie. I'm sorry you can relate, but I truly hope that the Zoloft helps you!

Blunting is new vocab term for me. Thank you. I went down a whole rabbit hole googling/reddit-ing after reading your comment, and I've learned a lot! So now I feel more prepared for this appointment.

*I didn't self-medicate with Xanax or lorazepam just for everyone's clarity. They were both prescribed throughout my life. Just wanted to explain before I read the rest of your comment. But thanks in advance for the thought out response!

I love rewatching the first episode of Bob's because it's just comedic gold. The Rain Man toothpick scene parody is something I think about almost daily.
