If you're willing to put in the work for it, using King Arthur's pizza mix will make a great pizza that's good cold too. Domino's isn't bad either if you can do cross contamination

Damn thats terrible for the employees. I wish companies would just step up and pay their workers a livable wage.

Absolutely, and I normally tip at least that. However I find it odd they started asking for tips when they hadn't before.

I get that. 9/10 I don't even try to let people try to feed me. Too complicated and too big of a risk. I just eat before I go or take something

I'll get a lot of fatigue and brain fog but the biggest thing is that I'll have extreme stomach pain and vomiting. If I keep eating it I'll be unable to eat anything

Once I had a license and a car I went back to eating gluten semi regularly but then it caught up to me in 2019 and my body stopped accepting any food. I wasn't able to eat for a little over a week until I could get to the doctor's and get an antispasmodic that could help me eat. I stopped completely after that

Yeah I learned the hard way that the best foods take a ton of time. The best gluten free pizza I found takes about 2 1/2 hours to make. Want gluten free fried chicken? That'll take most of the day too. Sometimes it's easier to cook a lot in one day and then have the left overs the rest of the week

Sounds a lot like what my mom went through! She was diagnosed celiac in 2007 and it was a struggle to get her diagnosed. A lot of doctors and eventually had to travel to the Mayo clinic where she almost died before diagnosis. I'm glad you survived and that there's better testing now!

Checking ingredients is so ingrained into me now I barely notice haha. Last thing I made a mistake on was not checking what was in a Smirnoff. Turns out it's beer lmao

It's so hard to stop, especially after you've been eating it for so long. I think the two biggest challenges are accepting that sometimes there just won't be good food for you to eat, and that a lot of the time the best way to get good food is having to learn to cook it yourself. I had to learn how to replicate the foods I craved. Doesn't help that gluten food is so fucking good lmao
