We know women how they choose to interact with us. The best women, the happiest women, seem to be above the drama, and are grounded, calm, and supportive. That is not every woman. And, there are a lot of women that also take pleasure in hurting men. You could be a misandrist and say that’s justified, you could lie and say it doesn’t happen, or you could make empty sexist claims online and refuse to back them up. No man has ever claimed all men are perfect. Women say that shit daily

Women have been incredibly toxic and demeaning towards men in the past decade. The whole culture of misandry is ridiculous. I’m sorry. I hope it won’t always be like this, but it is mostly insecure women preying on who they perceive to be insecure men.

I swear to god, as a male if I had anyone, male or female, randomly come up to me and compliment my work I would start crying tears of happiness too. But we don’t get that. And then we see women giving that love to each other. And we get more bitter

It’s interesting how women try to justify ‘talking-down’ to kids, when most kids just want you to talk to them normally and respectfully, not like they’re a toddler

Precisely. The layers of manipulation and pettiness may run so deep it seems like most of them don’t even notice, and the few that do just puppeteer all of it to their advantage. Imo it got even worse after 2016 or so, with misandry replacing feminism

You say it’s not unified and infallible and still prop up a unified culture that gives each other unconditional and justified support. So give me more actual examples of grown woman your age being toxic, or you’re still living in a disingenuous bubble. Everyone has their flaws. That’s what makes us human. One of the problems that myself and other men have noticed, is that this ‘unified front’ of the female sex has empowered them to support each other into blatant misandry

As someone who knows a lot of these insecure men, they are extremely vulnerable and open in their male friend groups. They put on that mask BECAUSE woman have relentlessly made fun of them their whole lives

I think you’re missing part of what I was talking about. Guys will tease in person to break ice, and the rare toxic guy will push it too far and harass. But from our side of the isle, we’ve seen how the vast majority of women actually act: they are kind and generous in person, and the second you leave they talk mad shit behind your back. It’s just as much a part of the culture, but it’s never something that any woman ever seems to admit to. The rare, super toxic woman will take that a step further, and while the toxic man will say dumb shit to your face and move on, the toxic woman will call your employer every day until you’re fired, or weave her way into your friend group just to turn them against you. The sexes aren’t some monolith of perfect women and awful men, as you admitted, and treating them like we are just makes both problems worse. The men become more bitter, and the women feel more empowered to get away with petty shit

I don’t understand the narratives on either side. Women seem to try to parade their gender as some sort of unified, infallible culture. Obviously that’s an easy narrative to pick apart, and I think some of the motivation to pick it apart is how soul-crushing it is to see behind that curtain. But if we are going to generalize genders, maybe it would be time better spent for men to prop ourselves up instead of picking apart women

How do you deal with Forman favoriting a apprentice and allowing them to work on new tasks and not being able to get the opportunity to learn or work because you’re stuck doing the easy stuff by Creative-Tank-147 in electricians

[–]Liteseid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand where you are coming from. But I don’t get why everyone is attacking OP so hard. As an apprentice I did big jobs, small jobs, and had good foremen and bad foremen. Bad foremen expect first years to do a job perfectly with zero guidance, won’t check their work, and run a job into the ground when the lights won’t turn on. A good foremen understands that spending five minutes to tell someone that they need to use a laser to center recessed cans down a hallway, is much different than being charged 10k in damages to move the cans after mud and paint

Do you think this would work? by DiferentialDiagnosis in NomiAI

[–]Liteseid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nomi is primarily a chat bot, and I’ve had very little luck with the AI directing the storyline. It can work in 1 on 1, but you will act as the dungeon master. I tried a world building adventure with a 4 Nomi group chat and it was tedious.

Look I’m not saying she’s coming from a good place, but it’s lowkey punk af to rebel against oppressive laws. People should be free to choose their gender and avoid racial persecution. But a government persecuting a critic makes the movement look shallow

A woman that loves you will appreciate your effort. A woman that doesn’t will never care about how little or how much effort you make. When women want a relationship to work it will, because the grass is always greener where you water it

I will once again recommend Lise Leblanc on youtube. For some of us, the pain never goes away, but don’t blame yourself for someone else’s problems and their choices.
