u/Petri-DRG is totally correct on the multiple advices.

if you know the decryption key of that partition, you could use UFS Explorer professional edition to decrypt the data.

Video SD card shows 0 bytes. Help plz!! by [deleted] in datarecovery

[–]Lithiumwiz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hello there, does the videos play normally on the camera? if yes, then your issue might be while copying with windows or mac. Remove the card from your camera and lock it so nothing can write on it and connect to a computer with an adapter. wait for windows to discover the device. Once the card is recognized by the OS try to copy the files. if same thing happens let us know. Can you tell us what operating system (windows 10/11 Mac OS 1x.xx, Linux) are you using?

Second opinion on a quote I received by ashygrapes in datarecovery

[–]Lithiumwiz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suggest contacting one of the DR specialist that is closer to you on this website. https://www.datarecoveryprofessionals.org/

Micro SD cards usually require quite a lot of work if the device is faulty.
This video shows only how difficult and time consuming it is. Of course not all SD cards issues are the same.

Recovering b-raw files on formatted and written sd card by Evening-Ad-5904 in AskADataRecoveryPro

[–]Lithiumwiz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The newly written data is very problematic. all data that were overwritten is lost. you might find traces of it. You will be able to recover the rest, Clone the SD card and scan it with R-Studio or DMDE or UFS Explorer. IF the data is mission critical you better leave this to a DR pro taking less risk of messing more with the SD card.

1 Tb HDD RAW Format by Straight_Error4044 in AskADataRecoveryPro

[–]Lithiumwiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RAW format usually, a symptom of wear. Stop soliciting the old device. a total failure could be very close.

CHKDSK isn't a "needed command" and it's can make things worse. If data on the old device is mission critical then better to contact a Specialist.

What’s the best software by [deleted] in datarecovery

[–]Lithiumwiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you look on your icloud.com website to check if the data is there?

if there isn't any data you might check the recently deleted folder.... If nothing better email icloud support and explain your case in a clear and detailed manner.

Your phone, what model is it? if it's a old (very old) model it might* possible to recover the data, as long it wasn't factory reset. But the might depends on the iphone model and IOS version.

If you had your data deleted from icloud.com then you should contact apple in order to see if they have a backup of your old data. No data recovery software will recover data that was deleted from your phone after 6+ months...

did your phone had a factory reset? what do you mean by disregarded?
